Tasted amazing best mix meat I have tried. Chips were fresh, this will be our now go to chippy ,can’t go back to the ones in the town centre after eating here

Everything was fine until I found a long dark hair wrapped between my chips and my steak pudding. Gross. Won't go again

Went last night had 2 portions of chips and 2 steak puddings and a large curry £13.00
It’s was awful. The steak pudding had been warmed up several times had gone pink the suet pastry was that thick there was no filling at all. It was all suet it was not fit to give the dog. I would of taken it back but we don’t live local. Then wanted us pay for bag they used to give a recycle bag free now got to pay.

I’m an Exec driver and my Singaporean guests really wanted a traditional fish and chip experience enroute from a Liverpool game to Bristol. After looking for one near an M6 exit point we found this gem on Google. Great fish and chips served by a great team. Thanks

Often busy which is a good sign, staff friendly and quick to serve, fish is always cooked just right as are the chips.
Even though moved to Alsager we come back here, it knocks spots off the other more local chippies

Been coming to top of the hill chip shop for the last 5 years but tonight I was served by the young lad.
The chips were not crispy like normal and but the double cheese burger was under cooked and couldn’t be eaten.

Plenty of staff on, place looks really clean and maintained well. Portions good but prices could be little bit better. Also - food hygiene rating on window says 5 with details on the back of the sticker blanked out! Looking online, it’s actually 4

I have never been to a better run chippy the most friendly staff they work together great communication between them is fantastic food excellent super clean shop.

The best chippy in the area and only a very short distance from the m6 junction for Sandbatch. If you’re passing and they are open swing by and have a good feed.

I don't normally write reviews but felt the need this time. I was driving past the chippy and thought I would get fish and chips. I'm so glad I did. It was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Fish was cooked to perfection and the batter was not to greasy and really tasty. Even the amount of salt and vinegar was spot on. Most chippies now a days give you 3 grains of salt and a drop of vinegar. If I'm ever driving past I will definitely pop back in. It's just a shame I live 60 miles away 😔
